The Floretz Program

“Knowledge can best be given where there is eagerness to learn, so this is the period when the seed of everything can be sown, the child's mind being like a fertile field, ready to receive what will germinate into knowledge.”

Dr. Maria Montessori

The Floretz Programme is designed to bring learning through observation, self-help, teaching aids, Montessori Materials, Montessori trained adults, spontaneous sharing of knowledge of older children with the younger ones, physical activities and audio-visual modules.

Post School Care & Activity Center
  • The Post School Care and Activity Centre commences operations in June 2014 at the Sarjapur Road and HSR School. The timing is 1pm to 6.30pm.
  • The program will cater to specific age groups of 2 to 4 years, 4 to 8 years and 8 to 12 years. The afternoon starts with children having lunch or snacks (if they have had brunch), sleep time and then activity time. The activity time will include physical activities and learning activities that will cater to the multiple intelligences of the child. We will also work with children to complete their homework.

“Human beings differ from one another and there is absolutely no reason to teach and assess all individuals in the identical way.” Howard Gardner

  • The multiple intelligence program offers a unique learning experience for children of age group 4-14 years. By the time the child is 14, parents will get a clear understanding of their child's strengths and dominant intelligences and what career would best suit them. This program is being offered by Floretz and Talent Labs. Talent Labs has worked with children in 20+ countries and use their own database to help profile children. "MI (Multiple Intelligences) is not a statement about learning styles." Howard Gardner. It is a lot of hard work of collecting data by observing the child over months and years.
  • The HSR Layout School offers dance, music and accelerated math programs currently. These will continue without any change at the HSR Layout School.
